Toomas
Kilm - President and Chief Executive Officer
With over 25 years of highly successful corporate and
executive leadership experience, Mr. Kilm manages CeLight's
operations and drives the corporate mission to bring
CeLight's revolutionary products successfully to market.
Prior to joining CeLight in 2000, Mr. Kilm was Vice
President of Lucent Technologies Optical Networking
Group with business, marketing and product responsibility
for Lucent's largest North American based global carrier
customers. Under Mr. Kilm’s leadership, his business
segment grew dramatically to $2.1B. His 20 years of
hands-on and management experience with Lucent, AT&T
and Bell Labs includes the definition, introduction,
marketing and sales of new and advanced telecommunications
products in the access, transport, data and optical
domains. Mr. Kilm has an M.S. in Electrical Engineering
from Columbia University, an M.B.A. from Rutgers University
and a B.E. in Electrical Engineering from the City College
of New York.

Dr.
Isaac Shpantzer - Founder and Chief Technical Officer
Dr. Isaac Shpantzer is a technology visionary and accomplished
inventor with over 35 years of advanced engineering achievements.
Prior to founding CeLight, Dr. Shpantzer was Founder and
President of NextNet, where he developed a carrier-class
wireless data communications system being deployed by
service providers around the world. Dr. Shpantzer was
Vice President of Engineering at Racotek where he developed
a mobile communications system with tens of thousands
of stations deployed. Previously, he developed technologies
and products in the areas of fiber optics, electronic
warfare, vector signal processing, command and control,
and managed the Systems Division of Israel's Nuclear Research
Center. Dr. Shpantzer has a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical
Engineering from the Technion in Israel and a PhD from
the University of Manitoba in Canada. |

Dr.
Yaakov Achiam - Vice President, Photonics
Dr. Yaakov Achiam has over 28 years of experience in
photonics research and development at world-class academic
and industrial institutions. Prior to joining CeLight,
Dr. Achiam served as the Joint Head of the Coherent
Light Source Laboratory for Ben Gurion University and
Israel's Nuclear Research Center where he conducted
work on advanced lasers and materials. From 1992 to
1999, Dr. Achiam was the Director of the Laser Department
for the Nuclear Research Center in Israel. Dr. Achiam
received his B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. from Tel Aviv University's
Department of Physics and Astronomy. |
